Uşak University will organize “Uşak University Preference Days” for the candidates who are successful in the Higher Education Institutions Examination (YKS) between 19-25 July 2024 at Uşak University Bir Eylül Campus, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan Congress and Culture Center Foyer area.

-Candidates will visit the departments they want to prefer and get information about the departments.

 Within the scope of “Uşak University Preference Days”, information about associate and undergraduate programs, education, scholarships, domestic / international student exchange programs, housing, social facilities and campus will be given and prospective students will visit the departments they want to choose and get information about the departments.

Candidates will be able to visit the campus of Uşak University and experience campus life while getting detailed information about the departments they intend to choose from the promotional stands of Uşak University.

Uşak University Rector Prof. Dr. Ekrem Savaş stated that during the preference days between 19-25 July 2024, information will be given to prospective students between 11.00-17.00 in the foyer area of Uşak University Recep Tayyip Erdoğan Congress and Culture Center.

-Uşak University, which has an Institutional Accreditation certificate, has 12 accredited programs.-

Uşak University Rector Prof. Dr. Ekrem Savaş said that Uşak University is waiting for its new students with its 14 faculties, 1 college, 10 Vocational Schools and 1 Graduate Education Institute and added: “Uşak University is a role model university with many national and international accreditations, integrated with the city and industry, focused on both student and regional development with a qualified growth. It is one of the prominent universities in its region with its increasing success momentum in international rankings (THE, QS, SCIMAGO, URAP, UI Green Metric) every year and its young and dynamic management structure. Our university, which has signed protocols within the scope of University-Industry cooperation, enables our students to carry out their vocational courses related to their fields practically in enterprises located in Uşak Organized Industrial Zones. It is also aimed to increase the necessary experience of our students in their fields by providing internship opportunities in these enterprises. With the 7+1 system, a 7 semester course + 1 semester applied education model has been created, and our students have started to gain experience in their fields, and at the same time, with the 3+1 system, our students studying in our Vocational Schools are trained ready for their working areas. “Our university offers its students many social opportunities as well as a successful academic life,” said Prof. Dr. Savaş and gave the following information about the campus: “We have a campus full of education, sports and social activities with the modern and useful Prof. Dr. Fuat Sezgin Library, the Şehit Ömer Halisdemir Sports Complex, which has many features such as a semi-Olympic swimming pool and a FİBA-approved basketball court for 2000 people, as well as the Recep Tayyip Erdoğan Congress and Culture Center with a capacity of 1100 people, where dozens of events are held every month. In addition, a sports complex with a synthetic turf football field where 15 thousand people can watch competitions also serves our students.”

Prof. Dr. Ekrem Savaş emphasized that they offer “International Quality Assurance” to all their students with program curriculums created and updated in harmony with international universities and with the opinions of their internal and external stakeholders, and added that Uşak University stands out with its barrier-free structure.

“Uşak University Preference Days” will be held at Uşak University Recep Tayyip Erdoğan Congress and Culture Center between 11:00 and 17:00 for 6 days between 19-25 July 2024.
