'Provincial Examination Coordination Board Meeting' was held by Uşak University ÖSYM Provincial Examination Coordinatorship to discuss the security measures to be taken in the Public Personnel Selection Exam (2024 KPSS-Lisans) to be held on July 14 and August 4, 2024 by the Measurement, Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM).

Uşak University Recep Tayyip Erdoğan Congress and Culture Center Senate Room was chaired by Uşak University Rector Prof. Dr. Ekrem Savaş and attended by Deputy Governor Olgun Öner, Provincial Police Chief Mehmet Ali Kolcu, Provincial Gendarmerie Commander J. Kd. Colonel Fahri Semiz, Deputy Mayor Reyhan Aydın, Provincial Director of National Education Halil Yücel, Provincial Director of Population and Citizenship Dilek Çörük and Examination Organization Coordinator Prof. Dr. Sadiye Tutsak.

After the meeting, Rector Prof. Dr. Savaş said that before the 2024-KPSS Undergraduate and KPSS Teaching Field Knowledge exams, they exchanged views on ensuring security in the buildings where the exams will be held, the measures to be taken in this direction, the transportation of candidates to the exam buildings, the transfer of questions to the exam buildings, and the measures to be taken before and after the exam in the provincial exam center.

Stating that all measures have been taken as ÖSYM Provincial Examination Center Coordinatorship for the exams, Prof. Dr. Savaş said, “The General Aptitude - General Culture session of the Public Personnel Selection Exam / KPSS Undergraduate on Sunday, July 14, 2024 will start at 10.15 am and 8,914 candidates will take the exam in Uşak. The afternoon 'Educational Sciences' session will start at 14.45 and 3,444 candidates are expected to take this session. The 'Teaching Field Knowledge Test (ÖABT)' session will be held on Sunday, August 4, 2024 at 10.15 am with the participation of 2,961 candidates and the ÖABT Imam-Hatip High School Vocational Courses Field Examination session will be held at 14.45 am with the participation of 271 candidates. Exams will be held in a total of 51 buildings. Prof. Dr. Savaş stated that the Provincial Directorate of Population and Citizenship will be open between 07.00 and 14.30 on Sundays, July 14 and August 4, 2024, for candidates who have lost their identity cards / ID cards or who want to reissue them, and underlined that the last time candidates will be admitted to the exam building for the morning sessions on exam days is 10.00 and 14.30 for the afternoon session. Stating that candidates will definitely not be admitted to the exam building after these hours, Prof. Dr. Savaş said, “It is important for candidates to act by taking these issues into consideration in order to avoid any problems. I wish success to all candidates.”

For 2024 KPSS-Bachelor's Degree, Uşak University ÖSYM Provincial Examination Coordinatorship held an online “Attendant Training” on Wednesday, July 10. In the training, Examination Organization Coordinator Prof. Dr. Sadiye Tutsak gave information about the measures and precautions to be taken before, during and after the exams for the exams to be held on July 14, 2024 and August 4, 2024 for Building Examiners and Assistant Building Examiners.
