MHP Deputy Chairman and Member of Parliament for Ankara, Prof. Dr. Mevlüt Karakaya, delivered a conference at Uşak University on the topic of "Political Financing in the Context of Development and Democracy."

The event, organized by the Faculty of Applied Sciences Borsa and Finance Community, took place at the Mustafa Kemal Paşa Amphitheater and was attended by Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Kenan Taş, General Secretary Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sinan Gürcüoğlu, deans of faculties, directors of schools, academics, and students.

In his opening speech, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Kenan Taş provided information about Uşak University and shared its national and international achievements. Emphasizing that Uşak University is a student-centered institution, Prof. Dr. Taş expressed that they have become one of the preferred universities in the region due to these characteristics.

Prof. Dr. Mevlüt Karakaya, a graduate of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences at Gazi University and holder of a master's and doctorate degree in Accounting and Finance from the Institute of Social Sciences at Gazi University, examined the connection between development, finance, and democracy in his speech.

Having taught courses in accounting, finance, and banking at Gazi University, Hacettepe University, Izmir University of Economics, and Başkent University, Prof. Dr. Mevlüt Karakaya emphasized the importance of the form of political financing in the context of the permanent establishment of political/administrative stability with the transition to the presidential government system.

The program concluded with the answering of questions and the presentation of a thank-you plaque to Prof. Dr. Karakaya.
