According to the application results of TUBITAK 2209-A / B University Students Research Projects Support Program 2024/1 period; as a result of 210 applications, 119 of our students' research projects were entitled to be supported.

The scientific evaluation results of the applications made within the scope of the “2209-A University Students Research Projects Support Program” and “2209-B University Students Research Projects Support Program for Industry” 2024/1 period carried out by TÜBİTAK Directorate of Science and Human Resources Support Programs (BİDEB) were announced.

In the 2024/1 period, 17,889 projects were entitled to receive support from a total of 34,762 approved applications across Turkey.

In TUBITAK 2209-A and TUBITAK 2209-B projects carried out by TUBITAK, a total of 210 applications were made by active students from associate and undergraduate departments and programs at Uşak University and project advisor academic staff to the first period call of the program in 2024. In 2209-A projects, 115 of 202 applications succeeded in being accepted. A total of 8 applications were made to 2209-B projects and 4 of them were accepted.

-With these achievements, Uşak University continues to rise in the world of science by ranking 53rd in Turkey, 6th in the Aegean Region and 2nd in TR33. -

TUBITAK 2209-A Project Support for 13 Faculties and 3 Vocational Schools

According to the results of the first semester of the TUBITAK 2209-A University Students Research Projects Support Program 2024, a total of 115 projects from 13 faculties and 3 vocational schools at Uşak University were entitled to receive support. The academic unit that will receive the highest number of support was the Faculty of Education with 22 student research projects.

Within the scope of the program, the number of units and projects to be supported by registered students and project advisors are as follows:

Faculty of Education 22, Faculty of Dentistry 19, Faculty of Medicine 14, Faculty of Agriculture 13, Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences 11, Faculty of Communication 6, Faculty of Architecture and Design 5, Faculty of Fine Arts 4, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences 3, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences 1, Faculty of Health Sciences 2, Faculty of Sports Sciences 8, Faculty of Applied Sciences 4, Health Services Vocational School 2, Eşme Vocational School 1 and Sivaslı Vocational School 1.

In addition, the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences was entitled to receive 4 project support within the scope of TÜBİTAK 2209-B.
