A traditional Eid al-Fitr ceremony was held at Uşak University on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr. Uşak University Rector Prof. Dr. Ekrem Savaş, Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Kenan Taş, Prof. Dr. Lütfi Özav, Prof. Dr. Osman Birgin, Secretary General Bülent Şahin and many academic and administrative staff attended the ceremony held in the foyer area of Recep Tayyip Erdoğan Congress and Culture Center.

Speaking at the Eid celebration ceremony, Rector Prof. Dr. Ekrem Savaş congratulated the past Eid al-Fitr and emphasized the spiritual atmosphere of Ramadan. Rector Savaş said, “Ramadan is a month of mercy, kindness and abundance. In Ramadan, first of all, we learned patience and self-control. I hope we will continue these habits for the rest of our lives.”

At the end of his speech, Rector Savaş gave a message of unity and solidarity and said, “I wish from Allah Almighty to meet the next Eid again with joy and health. I wish you all health, prosperity and continued success.”

The ceremony, which took place in a sincere atmosphere, ended with mutual Eid greetings and good wishes.
