Panel on the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women Held on November 25
A panel was organized on the occasion of the "International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women" on November 25 by the Uşak Provincial Mufti’s Office, the Uşak University Center for Women and Family Studies, and the Uşak Provincial Directorate of Family and Social Services.
The panel was held at the Uşak Atatürk Cultural Center under the moderation of Uşak Deputy Provincial Mufti Şeyda Bertan Uysal.
At the panel:
- Dr. Ayşe Gültekin, Director of the Uşak University Center for Women and Family Studies, delivered a presentation on "Religious References in Preventing Violence."
- Elvan Künkül from the Uşak Provincial Police Department presented on "Violence Against Women and the KADES App."
- Hale Nur Tunçay, Director of the ŞÖNİM (Violence Prevention and Monitoring Center) at the Uşak Provincial Directorate of Family and Social Services, gave a talk on "Women in the Cycle of Violence."
The panel concluded with a Q&A session.
