Uşak University Faculty of Dentistry 2024-2025 Academic Year ‘White Coat Wearing Ceremony’ was held at Recep Tayyip Erdoğan Congress and Culture Centre.

Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Kenan Taş and Prof. Dr. Osman Birgin, Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry Prof. Dr. Mehmet Ali Güngör, President of Uşak Chamber of Dentists Dentist Ayşe Özgül Sarıca, academic and administrative staff, students and their families attended the ceremony.

Starting his speech by conveying the greetings of Rector Prof. Dr. Ekrem Savaş, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Kenan Taş pointed out that Uşak University stands out with both dentistry and other departments. Stating that Uşak University is one of the prominent universities of the region, Prof. Dr. Taş congratulated the young people who won the Faculty of Dentistry for their success. 

Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry Prof. Dr. Mehmet Ali Güngör said, ‘This year, 103 more students joined us. I congratulate our students for their success and for choosing our faculty. We have become one of the preferred dentistry faculties in a short time like 9 years. We achieve this by following all scientific and academic innovations in the field. We would like to thank the management and teachers of our university for their support.’ 

Dentist Ayşe Özgül Sarıca, President of Uşak Chamber of Dentists, also made a speech at the ceremony and wished the students success.

Elif Zorbek, who was placed in Uşak University Faculty of Dentistry with the highest score, thanked her parents for their support and support.

After the opening speeches, plaques of appreciation were given to the organizing committee of the “Uşak Dentists and Student Education Congress (UDEK)” held by the students of Uşak University Faculty of Dentistry between October 19-20, 2024.

The White Coat Wearing Ceremony ended with the recitation of the “Faculty of Dentistry White Coat Oath” and a group photo shoot.
