Prof. Dr. Savaş stated that as Uşak University, they carry out studies and activities to ensure that our students are employed as soon as possible after graduation and to keep their ties with our university strong. Prof. Dr. Savaş said, ‘In this direction, we often bring our students together with our graduates and enable them to benefit from their experience. In addition, with such events, we find it very valuable for our students to learn the expectations of the sector and the companies they aim to work with in their business, internship and career processes and to spend their student period more efficiently in this direction. As a matter of fact, I see that we are getting the results of the Career Days, which we started 4 years ago and have now become a tradition. We have just visited the company stands. Among the companies and panelists participating in our Career Day this year, I saw that we have graduates who met with business life through career days, first as interns, then as employees in the companies they met here, and today they have established their own business and participated in this event as business people. This is a source of pride for us and a source of inspiration for our students here. I believe that the career day we organised this year will have positive results for many of our students here. I believe that the leaders, managers, entrepreneurs and business people of the future are in this hall right now. I would like to thank all the companies and public institutions that participated in our activities, the panelists who participated in the career summit and the company representatives who participated in the sector-student meeting for sharing their knowledge and experience with our students.
At the end of the panel, Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Kenan Taş and Prof. Dr. Lütfi Özav presented a plaque to the panelists in memory of the day.
