Uşak University ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System (QMS) External Audit Interim Evaluation meeting was held on October 31, 2024 under the chairmanship of Rector Prof. Dr. Ekrem Savaş.

ISO 9001: 2015 QMS External Audit meeting was attended by Chief Auditor Islam Topal and Auditor Kazım Ünal from BBS Certification Training and Surveillance Services, which has Turkish Accreditation Agency (TÜRKAK) Accreditation, Uşak University Quality Coordinatorship, Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences, Leather, Textile, Ceramics and Design Application and Research Center, Alumni Office and Career Development Coordinatorship, Department of Strategy Development, Department of Construction and Technical Affairs, Faculty of Dentistry, Continuing Education Research and Application Center, Vocational School of Technical Sciences, Department of Health, Culture and Sports and Department of Personnel.

Following the completion of the day-long external audit interim evaluation, a closing meeting was held.

At the meeting, Rector Savaş stated that they believe that they have successfully completed the external audit process and said, “In this process, we had a very valuable opportunity to see the level of compliance of our university with the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System standard and to identify our strengths and areas where we need to improve. The comprehensive evaluations and objective feedback of our auditors will make important contributions to further improve our quality management. In the light of the information you have provided us today and the suggestions you have offered, we will take the necessary steps to achieve a stronger structure in our educational and administrative processes. I would like to thank our auditors, my teammates who meticulously prepared for this process, and everyone who attended the meeting for their contributions. With the belief that this audit process will contribute to the continuous development of our university, I thank you all and wish you good work.”

Islam Topal, the chief auditor, conveyed the information about his evaluations and stated that the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System (QMS) External Audit Interim Evaluation of Uşak University was positive and wished success to the whole Uşak University family in their work.
