The Business Administration, Economics and Public Administration departments at Uşak University Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences were accredited by the Social Humanities and Basic Sciences Accreditation and Rating Association (STAR).
Promoting the development of social, humanities and basic sciences undergraduate programs in the Republic of Turkey and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, continuous improvement, ensuring the quality of education and training, Business Administration, International Trade, Management Information Systems, Economics/Economics, Finance, Banking, Labor Economics, Public Administration, The accreditation of the Business Administration, Economics and Public Administration departments of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences was completed after the evaluation, which started with a site visit in November 2023 and completed in April 2024 by the STAR evaluation team, which serves to demonstrate the evaluation and accreditation activities of Political Science and International Relations Undergraduate Programs and is a member of many accreditation organizations in the world.
Speaking at the celebration program held at the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Uşak University Rector Prof. Dr. Ekrem Savaş congratulated the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences for the successful completion of the accreditation process and stated that they are proud that the number of accredited departments of Uşak University has increased to 12. Rector Savaş said, "Accreditation is a certificate that ensures the reliability and recognition of a higher education institution and certifies that the program has certain standards. Thanks to this accreditation, our students will be able to find jobs and work more easily in many parts of the world. The devoted work of our departments applying for program accreditation in our Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences has paid off. I would like to thank everyone who contributed. Accreditation processes continue in other departments and programs at our university. I believe that they will be accredited as soon as possible. Quality is not a goal with an end point, but a never-ending process. With this awareness, our main goal as Uşak University is to maximize the quality of education by achieving quality in all units."
Prof. Dr. Ayşegül Taş, Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, thanked all faculty members who contributed to the accreditation process.
