Uşak University Presentation Days will be held by Uşak University for the candidates who are successful in the Higher Education Institutions Examination (YKS) in the Recep Tayyip Erdoğan Congress and Culture Center Foyer area of Uşak University Bir Eylül Campus between July 24 and July 28.

Within the scope of “Uşak University Presentation Days”, information about associate and undergraduate programs, education, scholarship, domestic/international student exchange programs, accommodation, social facilities and the campus will be provided, and candidate students will be able to visit the departments they want to choose and learn about the departments.

Candidates will be able to experience campus life by visiting the Uşak University campus, while getting detailed information about the departments they would like to choose from the presentation stands of Uşak University.

Uşak University Rector Prof. Dr. Ekrem Savaş stated that during the presentation days that will take place July 24-28, 2023, candidate students will be informed in the foyer area of Uşak University Recep Tayyip Erdoğan Congress and Culture Center between 11.00 and 17.00.

Stating that Uşak University is waiting for its new students with 14 faculties, 1 college, 11 Vocational Schools and 1 Graduate Education Institute, Uşak University Rector Prof. Dr. Ekrem Savaş said, “Uşak University is a role model university with many national and international accreditations, integrated with the city and industry, with a qualified growth. It is one of the prominent universities of its region with its success momentum increasing every year and its young and dynamic management structure. Our university, which has signed protocols within the scope of University-Industry cooperation, enables our students to carry out their vocational courses related to their fields practically in enterprises located in Uşak Organized Industrial Zones. Also, by providing internship opportunities in these enterprises, it is aimed to increase the necessary experience of our students in their fields. By creating a 7 semester course + 1 semester applied education model with the 7+1 system, our students of the Faculty of Engineering have started to gain industrial experience, and at the same time, with the 3+1 system, our students studying in our Vocational Schools are trained to be ready for their fields of study."

"Our university offers its students many social opportunities besides a successful academic life," said Prof. Dr. Savaş and  gave the following information about the campus: “The modern and useful Prof. Dr. Fuat Sezgin Library, Şehit Ömer Halisdemir Sports Complex, which has many features such as, semi-olympic swimming pool and FIBA approved 2000-seat basketball court, as well as the Recep Tayyip Erdogan Congress and Culture Center with a capacity of 1100 people, where dozens of events are held every month, provide education, sports and social activities. We have a full campus. In addition, the sports complex, which includes a synthetic turf football field where 15 thousand people will watch the competitions, also serves our students.”

Emphasizing that they offer "International Quality Assurance" to all their students with the program curricula created and updated with the views of their internal and external stakeholders in harmony with international universities. Dr. Ekrem Savaş added that Uşak University stands out with its accessible structure.
