Bilateral Cooperation Agreements from Uşak University in Tunisia

Visiting Tunisia Monastir University, Uşak University Rector Prof. Dr. Ekrem Savaş signed a series of bilateral agreements.

Prof. Dr. Ekrem Savaş visited Tunisia Monastir University and negotiated for bilateral cooperation agreements. During the meeting hosted by Monastir University Rector Prof. Dr. Hedi Bel Hadj Salah, a bilateral cooperation agreement was signed on student-faculty exchange, project and R&D activities between the two universities.

DTS Design Center Director Assoc. Prof. Dr. Eren Öner also participated in the meetings and an agreement was signed between the Institut Superieur de la Mode de Monastir and DTS Design Center. Thus, Uşak University added a new one to its 'International Design' cooperation for the leather and textile sectors, which are the areas of specialization.

Rector Prof. Dr. Ekrem Savaş and DTS Design Center Director Assoc. Prof. Dr. Eren Öner visited Monastir Textile Research Center, Monastir University 'Textile' themed Neotex Technopark, Total Testing Service (TTS) International Textile and Leather Testing Analysis Center and Monastir Technical Textile Research Center in Tunisia. During the visits, the developments in the Tunisian leather and textile sector were examined on site and the issues that can be cooperated with were discussed in detail.

Making a statement on the subject, Rector Prof. Dr. Savaş stated that Uşak University is becoming more and more prominent both at home and abroad with its studies and said, "Our DTS Design Center has been attracting the attention of domestic and foreign companies with its designs since its establishment. We make the designs of many important institutions in Turkey and international manufacturing companies. We also visit countries with important activities in the leather, textile and ceramic sectors and make agreements with the institutions there. With these agreements, our DTS Design Center continues to expand its international design collaborations. We will continue to make the designs of Uşak University more visible in the international arena with our work.
