Professor Dr. Ekrem Savaş, the Rector of Uşak University, gathered with students who were breaking their fast in the university cafeteria located in the Student Life Center. Rector Savaş was accompanied by Vice-Rectors Professor Dr. Kenan Taş, Professor Dr. Lütfi Özav, and Professor Dr. Osman Birgin, Dean of the Faculty of Education Professor Dr. Bülent Çavaş, Secretary-General Associate Professor Dr. Sinan Gürcüoğlu, Advisor to the Rector Associate Professor Dr. Fulya Akyıldız, and Deputy Secretary-General İbrahim Gencer.

Rector Prof. Dr. Savaş toured the tables of students awaiting iftar and engaged in conversation with them before the meal. He mentioned that we are approaching the end of the blessed month of Ramadan, stating, "It brings us great joy to reunite with our students at iftar tables during the blessed month of Ramadan and break our fast together with them. The Eid is approaching soon. Hopefully, next year, we will gather again with the same joy and excitement to break our fast together. On this occasion of Ramadan, I also want to convey the following; I pray to the Almighty that Ramadan is a month where all the adversities, injustices, and problems in the world come to an end, where hunger, poverty, and destitution cease. I wish for our fasts and prayers to be accepted. I pray that the upcoming Eid al-Fitr brings blessings to our nation, the Islamic world, and all humanity. I also extend my early congratulations to our youth for the upcoming holiday."

The iftar program concluded with a prayer recited by Rector Savaş.
