The Uşak University Library and Documentation Directorate organized a series of events on the theme of "Sustainability and Advocacy" as part of the 60th Library Week.

On March 27, the Uşak University Library and Documentation Directorate initiated the events with a reading session on sustainability for a better world, held at the Mustafa Kemal Paşa Auditorium. On March 28, a celebratory program took place at the same venue, where a documentary titled "Turkish Librarianship" commemorating the 100th Anniversary of the Republic was screened. Additionally, the "Library Awards" were presented during the program. Furthermore, there was a discussion led by Author Fatih Yılmaz, and a presentation titled "Sustainability Example in Libraries: AGRO Library" was delivered by Hatice Kübra Çakın. The events concluded on March 29 with the establishment of a library at Fadime Halil İbrahim Karahan Derbent Middle School by the Library and Documentation Directorate.
